How do you do?

Bureau Roffa is a typefoundry and (typo)graphic design bureau, run by Jasper de Waard, a self-taught typedesigner with an obsession for details.

Since he was a little boy, he's been obsessed with the design of lettershapes, resulting in a long and independent road to acquiring the skillset of a professional typedesigner. Shortly after an internship at the internationally renowned type foundry Dalton Maag, Proza was Bureau Roffa's first release. Some more background information on the story behind Proza is available, here.

Roffa is slang for Rotterdam, where Bureau Roffa has its roots, and operates today, hence the name: Bureau Roffa. Feel free to get in touch for any reason. You'll receive a reply within two days, including weekends.
